Charles is an HTTP proxy/HTTP monitor/reverse proxy that allows a developer to view all HTTP and SSL/HTTPS traffic between a computer and the Internet. This includes requests, responses, and HTTP headers (which contain cookies and cache information). Charles is a web proxy (HTTP proxy / HTTP monitor) that runs on your computer. Your web browser (or any other Internet application) is then configured to access the Internet through Charles, and Charles can store and display all information sent and received by you.

In web and internet development, you cannot see what is being sent and received between your web browser/client and your server. Without such visibility, it is difficult and time-consuming to determine the exact location of the malfunction. Charles makes it easy to see what’s going on so you can quickly diagnose and fix problems.

Charles makes debugging fast, reliable, and advanced; Save time and frustration!
