Drive Snapshot creates an exact file image of your system disk, including the operating system, installed programs, your data, and all security features – while Windows is running and you keep working. Drive Snapshot allows you to back up your partition or hard drive and can also create an image of your system disk. In the event of a disaster (virus, trojan or hard drive crash), a complete and accurate recovery of your system will be possible in minutes. Image files can be mounted as virtual drives, so you can easily recover (or use) individual files or folders using Windows Explorer or other programs.
Here are some of the main features of Disk Snapshot:
Back up disk images when using Windows
No reboot required (to DOS). Never.
Continues to work while the backup is in progress
New Snapshot technology ensures that all data is consistent and mirrors that of the computer at the start of the backup. No problems with opening files. Never.
It provides a very fast and easy way to back up servers and other computers that need to be running 24 hours a day.
Ease of use and recovery of individual files or folders
Snapshot Drive creates a virtual drive that contains all of your drive data. You can use, compare, or restore these files directly from the disk image file.
It works with any program of your choice, including (of course) Windows Explorer
Complete disk disaster recovery
If the disk is restored to its original state, it will be exactly the same as when the backup was created – byte by byte.
Restoring the system partition will require DOS; other drives can be repaired using Windows
Compatible with all Windows file systems (FAT16, FAT32, NTFS)
Compatible with all Windows RAID methods
Very simple interface and comprehensive command line
It makes automating mundane tasks easy
